KURSUSINDHOLD

With a feline focused approach, the creation of optimal clinic and home environments
will be outlined and the importance of this in both prevention and management of
behavioural concerns will be emphasised.

The focus of this course will be on interacting with cats and how to minimise
protective, and promote positive, emotions in feline patients, thus helping vets,
nurses, and caregivers promote emotional stability. You will learn how natural feline
behaviour governs the responses of cats both within the home and in the clinic.

The course combines lectures and workshop style teaching. The workshops will
consider a range of clinical scenarios and delegates will work in small groups to
discuss ways in which a behavioural medicine approach can be used to enhance
feline health and welfare in these contexts.
